For the first time ever, Clinton Square has transformed from a winter ice-skating destination into a summertime outdoor roller rink. The new Skate in the Square pop-up is bringing wheels, music, movement, and family fun right into the heart of downtown Syracuse.

Skate in the Square: What You Need to Know
The temporary outdoor roller rink is located in Clinton Square in downtown Syracuse and is open June 23 through June 27.
Admission is only $5 per person. You may bring your own roller skates or rent skates onsite for an additional $5.
The event includes daytime and evening skate sessions, making it easy for families, professionals, young adults, and visitors to enjoy the experience. Thursday evening will include a Pride Skate Night, and Saturday evening is planned as Mayor’s Night.
Clinton Square has long been a gathering place for Syracuse residents and visitors, hosting ice skating in the winter, festivals, races, markets, and community events throughout the year. This roller rink is another creative way Syracuse is activating downtown and giving residents more ways to enjoy the city.
