Syracuse Foodie Fest at Beak & Skiff: A Central New York Food Lover’s Weekend

Who does not love to eat?

I honestly think about my meals hours before it is time to eat. Sometimes, I have planned what I want to eat days—or even weeks—ahead. So the idea of going to one location and having the opportunity to taste a plethora of foods from some of Central New York’s favorite food trucks sounds like a perfect weekend plan to me.

This weekend, Foodie Fest is returning to Beak & Skiff Apple Orchards in Lafayette, New York, and it is shaping up to be a delicious day out for food lovers, families, friends, and anyone looking for something fun to do near Syracuse.

Foodie Fest Is Happening This Saturday Near Syracuse

Foodie Fest will take place on Saturday, June 27, from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Beak & Skiff Apple Orchards in Lafayette. The event is hosted by the Syracuse Food Truck Association and will bring together more than 30 food trucks, local vendors, craft beverages, live music, and family-friendly fun.

Even better: admission and parking are free.

Whether you are coming from Syracuse, Liverpool, Clay, Cicero, Camillus, Fayetteville, Baldwinsville, or anywhere across Central New York, this is an easy way to make a full day of it.

One Stop, So Many Flavors

Food trucks give you the chance to try something different without having to commit to just one menu. You can grab something savory, sample a sweet treat, try a refreshing drink, and still have room to explore what the next truck has to offer.

As someone who is currently a “con-vegan”—conveniently vegan for this year—I will definitely be looking to see what vegan options are available. I am not eating meat, but I still expect there will be plenty of tasty choices to enjoy.

The Syracuse Food Truck Association encourages guests to check individual truck menus for dietary options, including vegan and gluten-free selections. That means it is worth taking a few minutes to look around, ask questions, and find something that works for your lifestyle.
